An Adventure Out From The Cupboard Under The Stairs
Being a famous orphan is difficult, but not for a boy named Harry Potter. Harry Potter is a young boy who is bound to attention by other witches and wizards because of a tragedy that occurred when he was an infant. Because of the large scar in the shape of a lightning bolt on his forehead, many people think of "the boy who lived" and even call him the chosen one or the cursed child. He has spent as long as he can remember living with the only family he's got left, even though he would prefer to be on his own. His aunt, uncle, and cousin look down on him because how his parents are witches and wizards, so they give him old clothes, and just enough food to keep him alive, they lock him in a small cupboard under the stairs, and have him complete about all of the work around the house.
Until one day: Everything changed.
Harry got invited to the very school his parents had attended for his first year of school at Hogwarts, a very beautiful castle-looking building out by a lake. He gathered his supplies and met many new people on his way. Harry didn't understand why he was so popular since he never knew anything about his wizarding side and he was pretty much hidden from society back at his small home. When he arrived at school each new student got sorted into 4 different houses they will be associated with throughout their whole schooling at Hogwarts. Each of these houses has a great history to the individuals who created them. These houses include:
Gryffindors who value bravery, loyalty, and courage
Slytherins who value ambition, resourcefulness, and cunning
Ravenclaws who value high intellect, creativity, and wit
and Hufflepuffs who value kindness, hard work, and patience

In Orlando, Florida, Universal Studios made a section of their park dedicated to Harry Potter and all of the parts and events that occur. Me and my family visited Universal and this new area was my favorite place to visit! There are great souvenirs, food and drinks, interactive activities, rides, and more! The views are just good and all of the realistic buildings make me feel like I am literally in the shoes of a student! This may not be a read that everyone may have an interest in, and that's okay, but for those who like fantasy, a good plot, and flying brooms, this might be a fun book to check out!
Harry Potter is such a good book series and is one of the books that got me into reading in the first place. The typical theme of friendship and morals is somehow different but just as impactful in the movies and films. Very good blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat blog, I like how you included the universal studios bit its really cool that people can make books and movies come to life in the real world. I also think its cool how you included how even though you read all of the books and watched all of the movies you can still have a good time reading and watching them over again.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great blog and it makes me want to read the series or even watch the movies
ReplyDeleteI've watched the movies but never read the books. I might start with the first one over spring break though. Overall, great blog.
